Barron Update

Bo is on his 6 th week of working for the new company. He enjoys the work and the company. The company just laid off employees so we are so thankful Bo still has a job. He works with his dad and brother and they are becoming famous for how hard they work. God and his provisions are perfect. I have to confess that it is still not easy to see Bo leave, but I find strength in my rock every week. This is the door God has opened, so I will rejoice and delight in His desires for us right now. Knowing He will provide work for Bo in Reno in his perfect timing. I have been finding comfort in a devotion "Streams in the Desert" where it talks about the strengthening of the oak tree. And today in church Pastor Jerry talked about the scars of the beautiful mountains in Canada. It's the trials and storms that produce strength in our lives. The oak tree only becomes strong when it has weathered the storms. As the mountains are shaped by the things they endure day after day. I desire the strength to stand in the unknown and trust the God who knows and be formed by the storms, so my life will radiate more of Him. God is so beautiful and I am learning day by day He is the most worthy of all my trust and faith!!! Have a blessed week soaking in the rays of Gods amazing power, strength and purpose!!!!!

Michael and Dawnah's Wedding

Our good buddy Michael and Dawnah got marriend this weekend. Bo got to be in the wedding and looked really handsome. The boys got dressed up to they wanted to look like daddy. It was a beautiful wedding. Always awesome to watch people do it Gods' awesome way!!!!

Swim Lessons

Well the boys took their first offical swim lessons. They had amazing teachers and learned so much. Tyler and Nathan were in the same class they learned to use a kick board, retrieve objects underwater, float on their back, and swim with BIG arms. Joshua learned how to swim underwater holding his breathe, retrieve things underwater, swim with arms and legs and float on his back. I am so thankful the boys are little fish now!!!

"The Fire"

Isaiah 43:2
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
God is so perfect and amazing. On Friday night we had the scare of our lives. Bo had put day old charcol coal powder down in some dirt about 6 pm. We BBQ some ribs, ate dinner, the boys played, and them got ready for bed 8:30. As the boys were getting ready for bed, Bo had found a dead mouse under the sink (praise Jesus it was under there) and took it outside to the trash. On his way back he saw the fire. It was big. In the pictures the fire started at the bottom of the hill. The flames were almost as high as the tree in front. 10-15 foot high flames. He ran in and told us there was a fire and to get out of the house. I ran and got the boys out of the house and put them in the car. Bo went into super hero mode. He tried a fire extinquisher which did nothing. I called 911. He then got the hose and started to fight the fire. By the time I got off the phone. The huge flames had turned to smoke. By the time the fire truck had arrived Bo had put the fire out. It was God for sure. There is no way Bo could have gotten that fire out without God. It was huge!!!! The timing was perfect had Bo not gone out of the house even for a few more minutes the big tree would have caught on fire for sure. It was our burning bush like God sent Moses.

Our first Camp out

After Asilomar we headed east toward Yosemite. We stayed in a town called Coarsegold at a KOA campground. The campground had a pool and game room. We loved camping. It was so fun telling stories at night, walking to the bathroom with flashlights, and having fun brushing our teeth (we did a little dance). We can't wait to camp again.
