Our first Camp out

After Asilomar we headed east toward Yosemite. We stayed in a town called Coarsegold at a KOA campground. The campground had a pool and game room. We loved camping. It was so fun telling stories at night, walking to the bathroom with flashlights, and having fun brushing our teeth (we did a little dance). We can't wait to camp again.

More Asilomar Pictures

Asilomar

Every year we get to go the ocean in Monterey for a family reunion. Grandpa and grandma spoil us for 4 fabulous refreshing days. No cooking or cleaning. Surrounded by family who loves to be with eachother. It is a slice of heaven for my soul. This year the boys loved playing with Stuart, Philip and Amy. They enjoyed little Alex. We played at the beach. Went to the Dennis the Menace park. We had a talent show, too!

The Bo Update

Today Bo is in Sacramento filling our paperwork to officially start a 12 week job working in a prison in Susanville. He will be working with his dad, brother, and a friend re-wiring the prison. God is the provider. Bo has been looking for work since November. Every week God provides just what is needed. It is amazing to pray and trust and watch God move. The last 8 months have been a lesson in faith. When God says the things he says in the bible about always providing and not to worry. To trust him in all things. That He will never leave or forsake. All His beautiful words are true and powerful. I would have never volunteered to be in this place because it is hard and not easy. But as I sit and write I am in awe of God's love and promise to take care of His children. Sometimes the hardest places in life are the best because you are helpless and totally dependent on the God who can. I have learned so much about faith. That it really does grow the more you need to trust. Please pray that powerful things would happen as Bo works in the prison, as he works alongside his brother, father, and a friend who is a new believer. Pray for the boys and I as Bo will be gone a few days a week. God's timing, His plans, His purposes are always better then what I want for myself. I am excited about this new adventure and what is to come!!! Thanks for your prayers.
